A: It depends on the extraction kits, different extraction kits' runtimes are different, usually 25-35 mins

A: This machine is open source; you can use any Brand extraction kits. We recommend using large company extraction kits

A: Yes, you can use Thermo and other Brand extraction kits

A: We do not sell extraction kits. You need to get protocols from the extraction kit company

Q: What kind of consumables do we need? Please send me the list of all the consumables needed to use your equipment, including the tip comb. Would I be able to get an item number from Thermo Fisher?

A: There are three consumables for this 96 system.

1) Part# AZ-96TCM-100 Magnetic tip comb

2) Part# AZ-96DWP-50 96-Deep well plate

3) Part# AZ-96MWP-100S 96-Elution plate

The usage ratio is 4:1:1, 4 96-Deep well plate: 1 Magnetic tip comb: 1 96-Elution plate.

You also can use Thermo consumables, the Thermo part number is 95040460 (96-Deep well plate, sterile), 95040450 (96-Deep well plate, non-sterile), 97002534 (Magnetic tip comb )

Q: Does this instrumentation include a heating block for any steps that require heating?

A: This machine has 8 plate positions, the No.2 and No.8 plate position have a heating function

Q: Does it have a shaker for any shaking steps?

A: The Plate position is firm, cannot moving or sharking. But the program has a mixed function.

Q: What software does it use to program the protocols?

A: Customer can make their own protocol and save to machine. We also have our own reagent and protocol. We can build in if customers choose our reagent.
